let it snow...

i drew this cute little button-up snowman last year, alas he never made it to the printers... till now. he's making his frosty debut at the art and design market tomorrow, with his knitted scarf, pom pom beanie and buttons for eyes he's ready to celebrate this festive season with a smile.
also appearing on xmas cards this season along with the scrumptious sugar cookies and xmas babushka which are now also available at wollongong city gallery xoxo

seasons greetings...

hey guys, the silly season is almost upon us. the stores have their xmas decorations up, kids are writing their wish lists and i'm pretty sure i heard carols over the pa at the local mall today... i must confess i usually leave all my xmas shopping till the last minute, but not this time round, why not get in early this year by supporting handmade and locally designed products i say...
snail and the teacup have just sent a batch of chrissie inspired prints of to the wonderful milk thieves art & design in wollongong. for those of you in newcastle the lovely 
little papercup also stocks our prints as well as the awesome pony boy parlour in brunswick VIC. don't forget snail and the teacup has its very own etsy store for those of you who like shopping online. will be sure to add some xmas prints and xmas cards soon... happy handmade xmas!

handmade kids...

collaborated with my lovely sister saffron from avenue de flaunt recently to work on the new handmade kids logo. above is the final logo and below that is the illustration I contributed. maryanne from handmade kids has just relaunched their website and it looks great so go check it out! oh and don't forget to like their face book page too, while your at it...

to market...

support hand made, get down to wollongong tomorrow for the spring art & design market, put together by the fabulous girls from milk thieves and chloe & viscount. there'll be lots of great local artists, designers and all round crafty types there including whiskers lane, drawstring handmade and snail and the teacup, of course! plus live music!
what more could you want out of a market, nothing right?

horse play...

a fresh batch of snail + the teacup giclee prints arrived recently (hot off the presses so to speak) this handsome horse made its way down to melbourne along with eliza and darcy just in time for the opening of pony boy parlour in brunswick. check out there face book page here.
